Our Origin
Linkcare Health Services was founded in 2010 as a spin-off from Hospital Clínic, the leading hospital in the center of Barcelona.
Linkcare’s origins were centered on creating tools to improve health outcomes and make healthcare more efficient and affordable. This was achieved through a collaborative platform that joined together specialists, general practitioners, and nurses, while also promoting greater involvement of patients, caregivers, families, and friends. Leveraging out integrated care research, allowed us to become a leader in designing innovative care services for patients with chronic diseases. Linkcare has been also one of Europe’s leading specialists in lifestyle interventions, with expertise in areas such as physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and addiction management.
We have also developed a robust electronic platform to support clinical trials, this platform has been used on dozens of clinical studies and is commercially available.
Since its founding, Linkcare has participated in numerous international research projects and has contributed to more than 25 scientific publications on the detection, prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases.
